Devil Resources Secures Tasmanian Geothermal Exploration Licenses

30/12/2024

Devil Resources announces the granting of two significant exploration licenses in Tasmania, SEL 10/2023 and EL 5/2024, covering 6,000 square kilometres. This strategic milestone, along with a new investment from Natural Hydrogen Ventures (NHV), will accelerate the Company's innovative exploration of geothermal energy and natural hydrogen and helium, positioning DRL at the forefront of sustainable energy development.

The licenses, located near Bell Bay, provide excellent access to infrastructure and markets, supporting our goal to make Tasmania a hub for sustainable energy. The absence of active native title claims allows us to proceed efficiently.

Investment by Natural Hydrogen Ventures

NHV, the world’s only fund specializing in natural hydrogen, joins Devil Resources as their first external investor, bringing expertise and a global network to support growth.

NHV Managing Partner Morten Stahl said:
“We’re delighted to invest in Devil Resources. Their dual-focus exploration is a game-changer, offering synergistic advantages and de-risking projects.”

Mick Small added:
“We welcome NHV’s expertise and network as we advance our integrated exploration efforts.”

This partnership marks a new era for sustainable energy exploration in Tasmania, focusing on maximizing potential and reducing early exploration risks.
