Date: 17 Dec
Location: London
The CCS4G Symposium, organised by the GESGB ‘Exploring The Energy Transition’ Special Interest Group, is fast approaching.
What you can expect at the CCS4G Symposium 2024:
HIGH-QUALITY TECHNICAL PROGRAMME
This symposium will offer opportunities for learning, research, emerging technologies, networking, collaboration and making contacts with potential partners. Plus, opportunities to discuss supply chain, employment trends, technical collaboration, public perceptions, public engagement and HSE aspects.
MUCH-ANTICIPATED FIELD TRIP
Scheduled on Monday 16 December, this half-day workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to explore the Carbon Capture Pilot Plant at Imperial College London, and to examine core from the Rotliegend Group reservoir in the abandoned Saturn gas field. The Carbon Capture Pilot Plant is a four-storey-high, state-of-the-art facility that represents a scaled-down industrial plant, which enables hands-on education in operating and controlling such plants.
EVENING NETWORKING RECEPTION
GESGB will be hosting a reception at the end of the symposium to give all attendees a chance to unwind and reflect on the day over drinks and snacks.
Thank you to Ikon Science for kindly sponsoring the CCS4G Symposium 2024.
