Pampa Energía Announces Acquisition of All Shares of OCP Ecuador

Pampa Energía reports the closing of the indirect acquisition of 36% of the share capital and votes of Oleoducto de Crudos Pesados ​​Ecuador SA (“OCP Ecuador”), a company in which Pampa already owned 64% of the shares. With this transaction, Pampa becomes the sole owner of OCP Ecuador and begins to consolidate said company in the financial statements. The transaction amount was US$23 million.

OCP Ecuador is the concessionaire of Ecuador's main private oil pipeline, with a length of 485 kilometers, which crosses the mountain range and connects the productive region of the Amazon with the maritime terminal in the port of Balao. This infrastructure was developed as a private initiative in 2001, with an initial investment of more than US$1.4 billion, under a 20-year concession.

Currently, OCP Ecuador transports an average of 150 thousand barrels of Ecuadorian crude oil per day, which represents approximately 30% of the country's crude oil, in addition to 10 thousand barrels of Colombian crude oil per day. In July 2024, the pipeline exceeded 210 thousand barrels transported per day.
