Paul Howlett of Energy Explorers Ltd has been appointed Solgeo’s agent in the UK.
He will be promoting the ISMS (integrated Structural Monitoring System) structural monitoring and MS (Micro-Seismic) microseismic services in the UK. Solgeo and Paul are confident that UKCS operators, both in existing oil and gas ventures and also in new energy transition projects, would benefit from the two solutions, which represent extremely appealing value for money tools for both structural integrity of physical assets and the underground monitoring of the cap rocks to CCS reservoirs and other over-pressured reservoirs.
The Integrated Structural Monitoring System (ISMS) is entirely designed and developed by Solgeo for verification of asset integrity and safety conditions of offshore structures. All of the system, or parts of it, have been installed on platforms in the Adriatic Sea, Baltic sea and offshore Congo for a number of operators, including hashtag#Eni.
Seismix, a Solgeo Group company, is a provider of real-time and offline microseismic monitoring services hashtag#microseismic. Microseismic networks are critical for monitoring Underground Gas Storage (UGS), CO2 injection (CCS), and particularly for managing reservoirs in overpressure conditions. Both onshore and offshore networks worldwide have already been installed to monitor multiple projects.
Paul, Solgeo and Seismix look forward to highlighting their structural monitoring systems and microseismic services, in which Solgeo offers solutions ranging from hashtag#design to instrumentation hashtag#installation.
