Fennex have been accepted into the Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) Programme. The programme, which ORE Catapult is delivering in partnership with ETZ, helps ensure that organisations are prepared to work with the offshore renewable sector.
The F4OR Programme
The F4OR initiative, initiated in 2019 with insights from key players in the offshore renewable energy sector, represents a collaborative effort among industry leaders such as ScottishPower Renewables, SSE Renewables, GE, Vestas, and Orsted, among others. Tailored for established enterprises, it caters to companies aiming to capitalize on strategic growth opportunities within the offshore renewable energy sector.
The programme facilitates business improvement and sector-specific capability development. Participants benefit from comprehensive training addressing the nuances of risks and opportunities within the offshore renewable energy domain. Additionally, they gain access to a robust network of supply chain prospects, personalized guidance, and opportunities to bolster core business management systems.
“There is now a massive and ever growing demand for competent and reliable UK businesses to form part of the offshore renewable energy supply chain. With such a large number of projects in development, we need more businesses than ever to meet that demand” – Andrew Stromonth-Darling, F4OR Programme Manager
Graduates of the programme have reported an impressive average increase in turnover by 85% and secured significant contracts within the offshore renewable energy sector, underscoring the program’s efficacy in driving tangible business outcomes.
