Petro-Victory Energy Corp. has just announced the mobilization of the onshore workover rig to the São João field, in the state of Maranhão. The rig, model SPT-129, is scheduled to arrive on January 25th and is the result of a partnership with Braserv Petróleo, a Brazilian company specialized in completion and workover services.
The mobilization of this rig is part of a strategic plan by hashtag#PetroVictoryEnergy, which aims to increase oil production, including 14 additional zones in three wells already in operation.
The São João Field has proven and probable (2P) oil reserves of 1.9 million barrels of oil, valued at US$73.5 million.
