ETZ Ltd has received £2 million support from Scottish Enterprise and £1.25 million from global energy firm bp to begin construction of the first Energy Incubator and Scale Up Hub (EISH) in Scotland, while the Scottish Government’s Energy Transition Fund will provide the remainder of the funds for the project.

EISH is set to be the focal point of the Innovation Campus, one of the five specialist campuses currently in development across the Energy Transition Zone. The innovation campus will focus on supporting the delivery of floating offshore wind and green hydrogen through the development and transition of capabilities and skills in the region.

Within that campus, EISH – made up of over 3000 square meters of flexible industrial and collaboration space – will foster manufacturing, supply chain company building, technology research and development and commercialisation, as well as targeted business support to drive entrepreneurship, innovation, and growth.
