Aberdeen Science Centre is inviting employers to ditch bottles of wine and boxes of chocolates and give their staff the gift of discovery and inspiration this Christmas.  

The local charity is launching new ticket bundles in time for the festive season, which offer at least a five per cent saving on the usual ticket price. 

Available in bundles of 50, 100, 250 or 500, buyers can opt for physical or virtual tickets for their employees to use with their families or friends. 

Erin Flett, head of business development at Aberdeen Science Centre, said:
“We know companies are always looking for ways to reward and recognise staff so what better way to say thank you than with a day out exploring our interactive exhibits! 

“The cost of a bundle of 50 tickets includes a five per cent discount on the average ticket price, which increases to ten per cent on a bundle of 500 tickets – so the more you buy, the more you save.” 

The tickets are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed against adult or child tickets. 

The ticket bundles are an excellent way to give employees a gift with a difference while also benefitting the local community. 

Erin added: “As well as giving their employees a chance to unleash their curiosity as they discover all the exhibits on offer at Aberdeen Science Centre, the ticket bundles also offer the chance for businesses to support a charity. As an added bonus, their spend will also be invested in the local economy.” 

Aberdeen Science Centre’s exhibits are aimed at all ages and are themed into six zones: Energy; Space; Life Sciences; Make It, Test It; and the dedicated area for the under-6s, as well as the Shell Learning Zone, where STEM topics are brought to life.  

Erin said: “We hope employers will decide to do something different this Christmas. Aberdeen Science Centre is a unique experience in the North-east; the only place where you can have a chat with a robot, virtually dock a spaceship and discover how our amazing bodies work, all before taking part in hands on workshops.” 

Visitors to Aberdeen Science Centre can take time out from the exhibits with a visit to Grub, the onsite café, which prides itself on using the best local suppliers to create delicious food.  

Aberdeen Science Centre was recently awarded the Tripadvisor 2023 Travelers’ Choice Award for the third year running. The coveted award is given to those who consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% on Tripadvisor. 

Based on Constitution Street near Aberdeen beach, ASC is home to almost 65 interactive exhibits, allowing people of all ages to discover topics including space, energy, life sciences, engineering and much more. 

Open seven days a week, the centre also offers exclusive venue hire as well as room hire for corporate, social and private events.
