Technical engineering consultancy Vysus Group and enterprise data sharing platform Siccar have successfully completed a pilot of their innovative Energy Transition Databox solution alongside global completions specialists, Tendeka, a TAQA company.

Energy Transition Databox – an engineering and technology partnership between Vysus and Siccar – is a secure, end-to-end data management solution that enables companies to manage and share accurate and trusted emissions information across their supply chain.

By leveraging the platform, which uses a secure data infrastructure to automate data acquisition, Tendeka obtained verifiable emissions data, providing an accurate and assured baseline for complying with regulations and for prioritising decarbonisation initiatives.

“Calculating and reporting our emissions data is not only about complying with environmental legislation, but also about identifying where and how we can reduce our carbon footprint. The Databox pilot proved that we could use innovative technology to automate data acquisition, build a verifiable audit trail, and inform our decisions on strategic decarbonisation initiatives. Vysus and Siccar are in the closing stages of Databox pilot projects with several major operators and services companies across the energy sector.
