Of the five recently launched wells, four have been strategically drilled within existing fields that are 45 to 55 years old. The fifth well is entirely new and began supplying gas to the Ukrainian transmission system for the first time this month.

"To achieve our production goals, we are integrating the use of modern technologies for the development of new deposits in already depleted fields, and are increasing investments in the research and discovery of new fields," commented Oleh Tolmachev, Acting General Director of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.

These strategic initiatives have yielded remarkable results. In one of the existing fields, gas production has surged by an impressive 35% over the past two years; at another, the increase has been nearly 50%.

Gas fields that have undergone revitalization with modern technologies are demonstrating stable performance and potential production growth.

Since the beginning of the year, Ukrgasvydobuvannya has commissioned 58 new gas wells boasting a total average daily production rate of 5.3 million cubic meters of natural gas.
