Recognised industry leaders in expert led, pragmatic operational support, integrity and late-life asset management, ROSEN has recently relocated its Aberdeen office to accommodate its growing engineering team and future expansion plans.

The new office, in the West End of the city secured with a five-year lease, is a significant investment for the company. This expansion reflects ROSEN’s commitment to the North-east of Scotland where it has established a loyal client base since its inception in 2018. The move will support its growing team and further establishes the company's position as a centre of excellence for asset integrity management services.

With the move, ROSEN has more than doubled its office space in Aberdeen from 1,500sq ft to an impressive 4,000sq ft. This expansion not only provides fit-for-purpose working environment for the current staff of 26 but also provides state of the art IT, meeting facilities and allows for the planned growth of the team.

Bryn Roberts, Technical Engineering Manager for ROSEN Aberdeen, who has led and driven the Aberdeen side of the business, comments: "The new ROSEN office in Aberdeen is a testament to our continuous growth and commitment to delivering exceptional asset integrity management and subsea design engineering services to our clients. We have put significant investment into the business to date and by investing in a larger, modern, bespoke consultancy office space, we can better serve our expanding client base and ensure our team has the resources and environment to thrive."

One of the key features of the new office is its EPC A Energy Rating, demonstrating ROSEN’s commitment to sustainability. The refurbished building incorporates solar panels and an energy-efficient heating and ventilation system, supporting its initiative to monitor and reduce company-wide CO2 emissions.

ROSEN has seen substantial growth in it’s upstream consultancy business during the first half of 2023. The company’s commitments during this period have already surpassed the targets set for the whole of 2023 and is positioning itself for a projected 50% increase in turnover by the end of the year.

Bryn continued: "We are thrilled with the remarkable growth we have achieved so far in 2023. In 2018, we started with a small two-desk office space area and have developed to be in a prestigious standalone office in the Albyn Place/Queen’s Cross area in the West-End of Aberdeen, with capacity for 35 plus consultancy staff.”

Throughout the year ROSEN has secured key contracts with major operators and delivered numerous consultancy contracts, including successfully wrapping up a complex topsides RBI project for a major operator helping them demonstrate best practice, enhance efficiency, and continue successfully growing their business.

Additionally, ROSEN provided invaluable support to another major operator by completing detailed engineering life extension assessments for its production and export pipeline systems. ROSEN will also lend its expertise to an upcoming offshore asset decommissioning project for a third major operator. These achievements highlight ROSEN’s continued expansion and their reputation as a trusted partner in the energy industry.

To meet the demands of its expanding operations, ROSEN has recently welcomed another Graduate Mechanical Engineer, a new Principal Materials and Corrosion Engineer and office Engineering assistant to its Aberdeen consultancy team. Additionally, the company plans to expand its team by 2024 with the addition of Integrity and Mechanical/Design Engineers, further strengthening its capabilities and expertise.
