CeraPhi set to produce geothermal heat energy from North Yorkshire well

09/08/2023

This week CeraPhi have a rig on site to undertake the simple process of running their first CeraPhiWell™ solution into an existing well (KM-8) in North Yorkshire, U.K.

The well will be producing geothermal heat energy before the end of the month. Data recorded by the CeraPhiTru™ system will be invaluable, helping to fine tune the company's modelling package, CeraPhiPro™ which will make prediction for future projects more accurate.

This week CeraPhi's Senior Process Engineer Zach Chilvers is on site overseeing operations and setting up for what will be the highlight of CeraPhi’s evolution to date. First Energy Production.

Geothermal Development Company - CeraPhi Energy can apply this technology of repurposing oil and gas wells to geothermal producers in a high proportion of the +/- 20 million wells globally. Turning liabilities into #green energy producing assets.
