James Parsons Steps Down as Corcel CEO

Corcel Plc, the pan Angolan / Brazilian Oil and Gas company, with interests across battery metals mining and oil and gas, announces that having delivered the initial phase of Corcel's recent pivot, including the acquisition of Angola and signature bonus funding, and as part of the previously announced planned transition of the Company, Mr Parsons has decided to step down as director and Chief Executive Officer. 

James will continue to work with the Company in an advisory capacity during his notice period. The Company will review its board composition and in the meantime, Antoine Karam has assumed the role of Interim Executive Chair of the Company.

Corcel's Interim Executive Chair, Antoine Karam, commented:
