The expansion of strategic partnership between two O&M leaders to bolster maintenance efforts beyond North America 

Nearthlab, a leading provider of autonomous drone technology, announced that the company is scaling up its strategic partnership with ONYX Insight, a global provider of predictive maintenance solutions (PdM) beyond North America to Europe and APAC. The expansion comes a few months after the initial kick-off in March.

The partnership brings together Nearthlab’s prowess in mobile drone technology and ONYX Insight’s depth of experience in turbine reliability engineering, drivetrain integration, blade health monitoring, and enterprise management systems.

The unprecedented collaboration between two O&M powerhouses is transforming how wind turbines are managed, with Nearthlab and ONYX Insight delivering full PdM for wind turbines, providing operators with comprehensive data which allows them to assess the health of the components in their assets. This approach enables the industry to map out effective O&M strategies for reducing downtime and minimizing risks of component failure that lead to unexpected and expensive costs.  

With multiple projects underway, Nearthlab and ONYX Insight are gearing up to showcase their joint solution across APAC, Europe, and Latin America, among other regions.
