This company are a global leader in the insurance industry providing property casualty insurance to businesses. They are now looking to heavily grow their UK division and renewable energy team by recruiting a Renewable Energy Specialist to join their renewable energy underwriting team.

In this role the successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for the company's renewable energy underwriting team sharing their insight and knowledge in order to help the team better understand the UK renewable sector and the projects involved in it. They will also attend clients visits and conferences as well as be involved with the company's marketing. This will be an office-based role with the ability to work from home up to 2-days a week.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background along with strong experience working in the renewable energy sector. They will have worked on large scale renewable energy projects and ideally have worked for a well-known and major company in the industry. They will also be happy to be customer facing and commutable to Central London at least 3-days a week.

The Role:

  • Will act as the subject matter expert for the company's renewable energy underwriting team
