Programme finalised for energy industry’s environmental event

27/09/2018

The programme for the E-Reps Forum, which puts the focus on the environmental dimension of the oil and gas industry, has been finalised.

The Aberdeen exhibition and conference takes place in the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie Stadium on Wednesday, October 3 (2018).

Speakers include Nick Moore, from the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC), who will give a talk entitled The Future Challenges for the Marine Environment, while Dean Cogings, of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), will provide regulatory guidance. In addition, Graeme Abel, of SEPA, will also be giving a presentation.

Other talks will cover a number of topics including the circular economy, protecting your reputation, the value of data and what the future holds for environmental representatives.

Adventurer Andy Pag will host the day’s event and give insight to his remarkable trip – he travelled the world for two years in a beat-up bus powered by used cooking oil.

As well as presentations, visitors will also find out more about companies exhibiting at the event. The E-Reps Forum opens at 8am and closes at 6pm, with tickets still available.

Jill Butler-Rennie, director of The E-Reps Forum, said:
“The conference offers a platform to industry influencers, decision makers, environmental representatives, HSE professionals and consultants to exchange views, identify opportunities, build relationships and develop ideas. We’re pleased to be able to put on such a thought-provoking and engaging programme.”

Sponsors of this year’s event include Augean, Scotoil Services, TAQA, and RAM Tubulars. Tickets for the event cost £85 plus VAT and booking fee. A drinks reception will take place at 4pm.
