HampsonRussell 12.2 sees a continued focus on delivering accessible, cutting-edge physics constrained machine learning workflows, allowing users to rapidly get results that generate fresh insights into their data.  GeoAI, the innovative rock physics machine learning approach to seismic characterization can now utilize an extensive library of rock physics models, delivering workflows for clastic, carbonate and unconventional settings and the ability to capture and re-deploy subsurface knowledge using novel transfer learning techniques. Confidence is key, and with the addition of the new Confusion Matrix QC tool, users can now quantify the quality of their machine learning predictions and communicate uncertainty in the results quickly and effectively to their team.

Performance, stability and ease of use are central to ongoing development efforts and users can now benefit from enhanced display options for seismic and fault information, improvements to wavelet estimation and support for horizontal well-ties and faster and more interactive log cross plotting workflows for inversion feasibility and analysis.  Significant performance enhancements for Strata model export and Pre-stack inversion have reduced the time to achieve end results and with the addition of a new interactive AVF (amplitude versus frequency) tool and spectral decomposition analyzer, users can further enhance their search for DHI’s (direct hydrocarbon indicators) in their post and pre-stack seismic datasets.

The GeoSoftware Petrel link in HampsonRussell now supports the DELFI platform for an all-in-one solution so users can easily work in multiple platforms at once.  Securely import and export data into HampsonRussell and run advanced AVO and inversion workflows efficiently with greater ease of use.

PowerLog 11.2 delivers new Rock Physics Model (RPM) improvements for an enhanced user experience, data display, visualization and QC.  PowerLog now includes rock physics templates for lithology and pore fluid characterization, which can be displayed and manipulated using PowerLog crossplots allowing for rapid validation and tuning of Rock Physics Models to log and associated core data.  PowerLog 11.2 brings the petrophysical and rock physics domains closer together than ever before.
