Fulkrum announces six-figure contract supporting COVID-19 vaccine manufacture

27/10/2022

Fulkrum, a leading inspection, expediting, auditing and technical staffing service provider, has announced a six-figure contract working with a global healthcare company on the development of COVID-19 vaccine process vessels. This contract marks a successful first endeavour into the pharmaceuticals industry.

The project, which is set to complete at the end of the year, operates primarily at the vendor site in Shanghai, China. As part of the residential project, Fulkrum’s full-time inspectors have been placed on-site to support the project with inspection, fabrication and manufacturing services; including welding and non-destructive testing. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown measures in place across China, Fulkrum's inspection team provided swift and adaptive measures in order to support the project both on-site and remotely.

This move is the latest of Fulkrum’s successes this year; from ground-breaking contract wins to further global expansion, Fulkrum continues to go from strength to strength. Diversifying into the pharmaceuticals industry is a key component to its strategic cross-industry growth strategy, with round-the-clock accessibility for its clients at its core.

Fulkrum's Regional Manager for Europe and Africa, Stacey Neish, said:
"Fulkrum has a successful track record of supporting the growing demands of the energy, engineering and construction industries, so I'm delighted that we have been able to diversify our offerings to support the pharmaceuticals industry too.

"This contract win reinforces our position as a leading provider of cross-industry Technical Staffing and Inspection services, and I look forward to continuing to strengthen our track record in the Energy industry while also expanding into new sectors."

Brock Falkenhagen, Global Vice President of Fulkrum, added:
“The global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is undeniable, so I’m incredibly proud that Fulkrum has been able to utilise our cross-industry expertise to support the development of these vaccinations, contributing to the COVID-19 recovery roadmap.”
