ZeGen Energy is delighted to welcome Gillian White as the company’s first Non-Executive Director. 

Gillian brings decades of subsurface experience and big-picture net-zero energy transition tech expertise to complement the ZeGen team. She clearly sees the enormous untapped potential of geothermal as part of the future renewable energy mix and is passionate about digging deeper to leverage this technology within a data-rich energy landscape that lends itself readily to development. 

As a project geologist working with and managing multidisciplinary teams for subsurface operators in the North Sea UK, Gillian has acquired extensive knowledge of what’s happening beneath the surface across the region. More recently, as Technology Advisory Manager at the Net Zero Technology Centre she oversaw technical teams taking net-zero technology concepts and building collaborative projects around them, including academic and business partners, to test viable solutions. There, she gained a big-picture understanding of the energy transition that includes connecting offshore and onshore energy systems. 

Through her professional experience, she has come to understand the importance of creating collaborative projects around important innovative ideas. and cultivating a willingness to jump to make it happen.
