Site Visit – Verlume Operations Facility

05/10/2022

Are you a young professional that would like to learn more about battery energy storage, renewable energy integration and the Renewables for Subsea Power project?

Registration is now open for the SUTPlus site visit to the Verlume operations facility in Dyce, Aberdeen. As part of the visit, you will be able to see the integration testing that is ongoing for the Renewables for Subsea Power (RSP) project.

Date: Monday 10th October
Time: 17:30 – 18:30
Location: Verlume Operations Facility, Kirkton Drive, Raiths Industrial Estate, Dyce AB21 0BG

Recognising the challenge of renewable energy intermittency and energy security needs for offshore operations, the RSP project has been developed by partners in the UKCS to combine Mocean Energy’s Blue X wave energy converter and Verlume’s Halo seabed battery energy storage system, to deliver low carbon power and communication with subsea infrastructure such as subsea production control systems and residential ROVs and AUVs.

Places are limited, please register here to guarantee your place.
