Within Energy today announced the addition of three Geothermal Exploration Permits (EPG’s) across Queensland. The permits consist of several suitable locations for geothermal energy developments in close proximity to infrastructure and industry. The projects aim to further Queensland towards a carbon neutral baseload energy supply into the future, in addition to providing green jobs.

NEW Geothermal Exploration Projects:

Dalby Geothermal
EPG 2031 – Located between Dalby and Toowoomba in the Darling Downs.

Goondiwindi Geothermal
EPG 2030 – Located in the Goondiwindi region in the Darling Downs.

Rockhampton Geothermal
EPG 2032 – Located in the Rockhampton to Duaringa region in Central Queensland.
