• Invitation to Tender (ITT) issued for the Geophysical Survey Programme covering the Anning and Somerville field developments.
• Survey contract expected to be awarded and a vessel secured for completion of offshore operations during July to September 2022.
• Survey of seabed conditions across the selected preferred pipeline route, platform and rig locations at the Anning and Somerville fields.
• An environmental assessment of seabed conditions and location of any marine habitats will also be completed.

Hartshead Resources has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to industry contractors in respect of a Geophysical Survey across the Anning and Somerville fields as part of advancing the Phase I project towards production.

The main objectives of the geophysical survey are to provide the Company with an understanding of the condition and integrity of the seabed at the Anning and Somerville field locations.

The survey will consist of the following components:

• A pipeline route survey and seabed core sampling in the vicinity of the Anning and Somerville fields for the purposes of future pipelines between the Anning and Somerville platform jackets and to third party transportation infrastructure;
• The collection of geophysical and seabed feature data to assist platform design and installation contractors, jack-up rig owners and insurers;
• A shallow gas and top hole hazard survey;
• An environmental seabed assessment of sediment chemistry and conditions alongside the identification and location of any prioritised marine habitats.

Tenders are expected to be received by the end of May 2022 and a technical and commercial bid evaluation process conducted during June. Offshore operations are expected to be completed during the summer weather window of July – September 2022 and we look forward to providing an update following the completion of the survey.
