One of the oldest rig moving companies in the world is celebrating a significant landmark with the completion of its 6000th marine operation.
Offshore Marine Contractors (OMC) was founded in 1985 to offer holistic rig moving, marine consultancy, brokerage, marine assurance and rental equipment services to the energy, renewables and civil/construction sectors. The company operates from Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth in the UK, and Steenwijk in The Netherlands. 

Almost four decades on, OMC is now celebrating its milestone 6000th project completion and is also on track to deliver 4000 rig moves, with demand for jack-up and semi-submersible rig moves particularly high due to an inimitable reputation for excellence.

To mark the occasion, the company has just launched a brand-new website to showcase its unrivalled track record in delivering project optimisation whilst protecting people and assets thanks to an agile and trusted team.
