Weir Oil & Gas Dubai announced today it has signed multi-year contracts in Iraq with two international oil companies totaling more than $50 million USD.

The contracts secure the provision of Weir Oil & Gas workshop services and engineering support for an oil field and valve repair and maintenance services for another giant oil field, respectively. Positive past performance with the international oil companies as well as Weir Oil & Gas’ in-country capabilities, local content, in-house engineering and comprehensive international facility near the customers’ sites made Weir the logical choice. These deals further consolidate Weir’s Rig to Grid capabilities in the Middle East.
