On August 9, Yamal LNG effected the first shipment of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) up to 170,000 cubic meters from the second train of the project at the Port of Sabetta, Nenetskiy AOk, marking the launch of Yamal LNG second train.
Yamal LNG is an integrated project that covers an entire chain of natural gas production, processing, LNG manufacturing, and sales and shipping. Its first train had been commissioned in December 2017, and now the second train has produced over 250,000 ton of LNG. The third train is under construction and is expected to put into operation by the end of this year. Meanwhile, construction planning of the fourth train has been started.
