Armour Energy has announced the appointment of Mr Craig Gouws as Chief Financial Officer. Craig will commence in the role from today, 20 December 2021.

Craig is a highly experienced finance professional with over 20 years of international experience. Most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Warrah Society in Sydney, Craig has a depth of experience including the resources sector. He was previously CFO for InfraStrata plc, a UK listed gas storage and hydrocarbon exploration company as well as experience at Carbon Energy Limited and in energy consulting roles. Craig played a major role in the Egdon Resources plc, an onshore UK oil and gas exploration and production business, and Portland gas storage asset demerger and consequent listing of Infrastrata plc on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. Craig commenced his career in various audit roles across South Africa, Saudi Arabia and London.

In transitioning the Chief Financial Officer function and responsibilities, Craig Gouws will be well supported with a hand over period by Toni Hawkins, the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer.
