Richard Rose has accepted an invitation to join Serica Energy’s Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Expro Group, an international energy services company with market leadership in well access and well flow optimization, has appointed Karen David-Green to the newly created position of Chief Communications, Stakeholder and Sustainability Officer.

Avangrid Renewables, a subsidiary of AVANGRID, Inc. has appointed Jose Antonio Miranda as President Onshore. In this role, he will oversee the growth of the company’s onshore wind and solar business.



Cairn has appointed Dr Eleanor Rowley as Managing Director, Egypt. Dr Rowley joins Cairn from TotalEnergies where she was Vice-President Exploration for the Middle East, Caspian, North Africa and Southern Europe.

Clough announced that Jillian Formentin has been appointed Business Development Manager.

Subsea Integration Alliance has announced that Olivier Blaringhem, Executive Vice President - Subsea and Conventional, Subsea 7, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Subsea Integration Alliance effective immediately. Blaringhem succeeds Stuart Fitzgerald, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Seaway 7 ASA in the planned combination with OHT ASA. Steve Tate, Head of Sales & Commercial, OneSubsea, will remain as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Head of Sales for Subsea Integration Alliance.

SSE has announced that Stephen Wheeler is to be appointed as Managing Director, SSE Renewables, following Jim Smith’s decision to step down from his role and retire in April 2022.

Claire Atkins has accepted the role as Ireland country manager for OWC

Africa Oil has appointed Amy Bowe as the Company's Vice President ESG. Ms. Bowe joins Africa Oil from Wood Mackenzie, where she held various positions within the Upstream Consulting team and most recently served as Head of Carbon Research.

Craig Knight has joined Africa Oil as the Company's Vice President Production, based in Africa Oil's London office.

Global integrated solutions specialist EnerMech has appointed David Molloy as General Counsel and Head of Contracts to support the business as it continues to grow in new territories and regions.

Simon Compton will become a Director of HEA and brings over 30 years experience in the energy industry in a number of technical, business development and commercial roles.

Longboat Energy announced that Ms Hilde Salthe will be joining the Company as Managing Director Norway on 1 October 2021, further strengthening the Company’s executive team as it transitions to a full-cycle E&P business.

Ørsted has appointed Neil O'Donovan as CEO of the Onshore business and new member of the Executive Committee as of 15 September 2021. Neil has acted as interim CEO of the business unit since 3 August 2021 and has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ørsted Onshore since 2018.

Tullow Ghana has announced the appointment of Cynthia Lumor as Deputy Managing Director, effective 1st October 2021. Cynthia is the first to be appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Tullow Ghana since it began operations in 2006.

Subsea 7 announced that Ricardo Rosa, CFO, will retire from his position at the end of December 2021 and will be succeeded from 1 January 2022 by Mark Foley.

bp has appointed Anja-Isabel Dotzenrath as its new executive vice president, gas and low carbon energy, and member of bp’s leadership team. Until recently she was chief executive officer of RWE Renewables, one of the world’s leading renewables businesses. Anja-Isabel will join bp on March 1st 2022.   

AGR has appointed Mr Matt Street to the position of Well Engineering Manager, to be based at the company’s Aberdeen office in the UK. A senior energy industry professional who has worked on numerous well projects, Mr Street brings with him over 20 years of experience in global offshore operations and a background spanning rig contractors, Well Management contractors, and operators. 

Falcon Oil & Gas announced the appointment of Joe Nally as Non-executive Chairman and to the Board of the Company, with immediate effect, replacing Joachim Conrad who will remain on the Board as a Non-executive Director.

As part of the deployment of TotalEnergies’ new organization, effective September 1, 2021:

  • Nicolas Terraz is appointed President, Exploration & Production, member of the Executive Committee, replacing Arnaud Breuillac, who becomes Senior Advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Henri-Max Ndong-Nzue replaces Nicolas Terraz as Senior Vice President Africa for Exploration & Production.
  • Namita Shah, member of the Executive Committee, is appointed President, OneTech. In addition, she will supervise the work of People & Social Engagement, headed by Agnieszka Kmieciak.
  • Helle Kristoffersen, member of the Executive Committee, is appointed President, Strategy & Sustainability. She will supervise the work of TotalEnergies Global Services.

 

ROVOP, a leading independent provider of cutting-edge subsea remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), has appointed Daniel Wheeler as its new President for the Americas.

Vermilion Energy announced today the appointment of Dion Hatcher as President effective January 1, 2022. He will replace Curtis Hicks, Vermilion's current President, who will step down and continue as an advisor to the Company until April 1, 2022.

International energy logistics provider Peterson has announced that Sarah Moore will succeed Erwin Kooij as CEO, following his retirement from the business on January 1st 2022.

Subsea 7 has announced the proposed executive team for Seaway 7 ASA, the company resulting from the planned combination1 of its Renewables business unit with OHT ASA.

Seaway 7 ASA will be managed by an experienced executive team led by Stuart Fitzgerald as Chief Executive Officer. Both companies are pleased to confirm the following appointments, who will report to Stuart Fitzgerald.

Shell is moving into the heart of Aberdeen more than 50 years after it opened its first office in the city centre.

Ranger Energy Services has named Stuart Bodden as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2021. Stuart has also been appointed to the board of directors.

Serica Energy announced the appointment of Andy Bell as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Dril-Quip has appointed Jeffrey J. Bird as its President and Chief Executive Officer, and elected him to the Board, both effective as of January 1, 2022 to replace Blake T. DeBerry, who will step down at that time. Mr. DeBerry will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board until December 31, 2021.

Armour Energy announced the appointment of Jeff Schrull as the Chief Executive Officer-elect for the proposed demerger and separate ASX listing of McArthur Oil & Gas.  

Wood announced the appointment of Ken Gilmartin as new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the latest member of the company’s executive leadership team. Gilmartin joins Wood as a direct replacement for existing COO, Dave Stewart, who will retire at the end of the year following an illustrious 25-year career at Wood.
