11th-12th October CMG Training: Assisted History Matching, Optimization & Uncertainty Analysis using IMEX

Learn Sensitivity Analysis, History Matching, Optimization, and Uncertainty Assessment techniques and their applicability in a Black Oil simulation model using IMEX. Perform a sensitivity analysis of a Black Oil simulation model using reservoir parameters that allow the final selection for an assisted history match process using CMOST. Apply Optimization to the forecast to select the optimum operating strategy for the application of an alternate water and gas injection process (WAG).

20th/21st October CMG Training: Modelling Geothermal Reservoirs with CMG

Learn about geothermal energy and various geothermal energy extraction techniques. Learn to simulate the extraction of geothermal energy and model the heat extraction by producing hot water from and injecting cold water into a hot geo-pressured reservoir using CMG’s thermal and advanced processes reservoir simulator STARS. Create, modify, and analyze simulation datasets and results using Builder and Results. Capture relevant reservoir processes and wellbore heat transfer using STARS and quantify the effect of various reservoir parameters on energy extracted using CMOST.
