Burnout: It's OK not to be OK

05/09/2021

As Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdowns have drastically affected our work-life balance and working environments, workplace burnout has become a common topic of webinars and training. However, whilst it is always best to prevent burnout as the outcome of long-term stress, what happens when preventative measures aren’t enough? According to a recent survey undertaken by Mental Health UK, 1 in 5 UK workers felt ‘unable’ to manage pressure and stress levels at work.

Join Richard House Business E-Breakfast on 23rd September to hear from an expert panel on how to deal with burnout after it arises, both from an employer and employee perspective. The three areas we will be exploring are:

  • How to create a culture of openness and no judgement where it is okay to say you're not okay.
  • What are the first steps to take when you're feeling burnt out or someone tells you they're feeling burnt out?
  • How you can use some of the aspects of transitioning back to pre-Covid working to help avoid further burn out

We will also be joined by Carol Butwell, (STaR) Team Manager, who will highlight some of the main stressors that Richard House staff face. She will shed a light on how the Care team at Richard House have dealt with burnout, including both supporting staff and the families we interact with.

Sign-up by 20th September to receive a complimentary breakfast voucher!
