ARGAS, the largest MENA based Seismic Acquisition Company, has announced that their ARDISEIS (98% owned ARGAS company) Egypt vibroseis crew has set a new world record of +41,000 VPs acquired in 24 hours, early March 2021.

This unrivalled performance, combined with a clean HSE record and a project completion ahead of schedule, represents an outstanding achievement which was made possible thanks to a close collaboration  between all ARGAS teams involved in this project, their Client Petroshahd (ENAP), and Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). 

This achievement of +41,000 VPs in 24 hours was done by implementing full-Unconstrained (BLENDED) acquisition with up to 38 vibrators in production at the same time.

ARDISEIS pioneered the BLENDED ACQUISITION (r)evolution in Egypt in 2015 and has been implementing it on all projects since then.
