Monarch Geophysical Services today announced that Ben Scot  has joined Monarch as a Project Geophysicist and is supervising the processing of 2D and 3D marine seismic projects. Ben has considerable experience in being the lead geophysicist on depth migration projects as part of his previous employment and so his skills will be fully utilised at Monarch.

Ben previously joined GeoKinetics as a trainee geophysicist on completion of his degree. He worked on many projects involving time and depth migration and in combination with attending a number of training courses quickly developed the experience and expertise to become a project geophysicist with responsibility for all aspects of a project.

In the last 2 years he was at GeoKinetics he was a Processing Supervisor looking after a number of projects being carried out by his team of geophysicists.
