Helios Nordic Energy doubles solar capacity in Sweden

11/08/2021

Helios Nordic Energy has doubled its solar portfolio in the southern part of Sweden and added another 10 projects - equivalent to 500 megawatts - to its portfolio, which now totals 1 gigawatt.

The 1 gigawatt development portfolio was achieved six months earlier than planned when Magnora made its investment in the company.

"We have an efficient development method and are an attractive partner for landowners", says Andreas Tunbjer, CEO of Helios, who also informs that the next goal is to double to 2 GW by the end of 2022.

Helios is now preparing to invite suitable investors to parts of its portfolio where several projects will soon be ready for construction.

"The Nordic solar market attracts the attention of buyers across Europe. Helios has positioned itself well", says Peter Nygren in Magnora.
