RES, working alongside Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), is delighted to announce that Solwaybank Wind Farm has become one of the latest projects in the Contracts for Difference (CfD) portfolio to come online.

Under the terms of the CfD, the contractual milestone of Operational Conditions Precedent (OCP) signifies a project has satisfied the eligibility criteria required for it to start generating electricity and receiving support. Solwaybank achieved its OCP and Start Date on 27 November 2020.

The 30MW Solwaybank Wind Farm in Dumfries and Galloway is owned by The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (TRIG), a leading London-listed renewable energy infrastructure investment company, and the project is managed by RES, the world’s largest independent renewable energy company.
