Petrofac has been awarded a contract by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for its Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) Block Package for the Visakh Refinery Modernisation Project (VRMP), Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The lump-sum engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project, valued at approx. US$200 million, includes licensing and commissioning. The SRU package will be constructed within the existing refinery under the terms of the 30-month contract.
