Staatsolie Hydrocarbon Institute (SHI) has announced the offer of eight new blocks in the currently unlicensed and underexplored Shallow Offshore (SHO) acreage of Suriname via a round of competitive bidding. The blocks are located in the west of the Shallow Offshore area, south of the recent deepwater discoveries made in Block 58 and northwest of the onshore producing fields. The data room opens on 30 november 2020 and bids are due by 30 April 2021. SHI is being advised by Envoi throughout the process.
